It's hard to believe we have completed the first ten months of 2013! The holidays are here, time to stay serious about activity and healthy eating! I had a wonderful week at home - I love the cooler temps and will miss them when we head back to Hawaii on Monday!

I ran a very hilly route and pushed the pace. I almost always do well after a rest day!
Tuesday

I was definitely feeling the effects of Monday's run.

I decided to hit the trail this morning. It was so peaceful... until I saw a cow on the side of the trail! He stared me down while I carefully moved on. I also saw two deer, a variety of birds and rabbits.
Friday
Rode 9.37 miles in 1:07:50, 8.3 mph
This was my first time on my bike in exactly a month and I could tell! I have no climbing strength. I'm seriously thinking about putting the bike away until we are back from Hawaii for good. This once a month stuff just doesn't cut it.

Since we have the time change tonight, I plan on getting up and running extra long in the morning. I want fresh legs.
