This blog is about my running experience. I am not a physician, nutritionist or personal trainer. I am a runner. I do not know it all. I am only writing from my own experiences. I finished my first marathon on June 3, 2012. Who knows where my feet will take me next!

I'm Back!

Today, for the first time since I ran my marathon, I finally had some speed in my legs.  Last week's break ended up being a good thing.  I didn't break any records, but I really felt good.

5 miles in 53:17, 10:39 pace.  The good news was my last two miles were under 10 minutes each.

Mile 1 - 11:39
Mile 2- 11:28
Mile 3 - 11:04
Mile 4 - 9:04
Mile 5 - 9:59

Training for my next marathon starts in just a little over a month and I'm finally feeling ready.
