This blog is about my running experience. I am not a physician, nutritionist or personal trainer. I am a runner. I do not know it all. I am only writing from my own experiences. I finished my first marathon on June 3, 2012. Who knows where my feet will take me next!

Prep Time

Because I don't want to have to think too much in the morning...

Anti-Fatigue Caps and Endurolytes~ both of these are capsules. I'll take some before I head out, then have more in little baggies in my fuel belt.

Perpetuem ~ I've made a Multi-Hour Bottle.  That's what is in the small flask.  I'll drink 2 ounces every 30 minutes.

Water bottle ~ it will have lots of ice to start off.  There are several parks on my planned route, so I can refill as needed.

The hourly forecast for in the morning:

From Jeff Galloway Training:

When the temperature rises above 60° F: runners slow down by 30 seconds a mile for every 5 degrees above 60° F.

14 miles, but it's gonna be a long slow run!  My Garmin is set-up for 10:1 intervals. 10 minutes running, 1 minute walking.
