When It's Pouring Rain

This quote was in my email box today:

I have run in the rain many times here on Oahu, but the most memorable was with over 20,000 others during the 2014 Honolulu Marathon!  A quote from that post, "For the record - running in the rain is fun for about 2 miles."


What's the longest rain run you have ever done?

    I don't know if 2 miles is fun in the rain. I ran a half marathon that was rainy in Madison Wisconsin. It wasn't cold at least. And a 10 miler along the Chicago lakefront that was rainy and 40 degrees. It was horrible. I think it took me a week too thaw out.

      I don't mind it here because it has a cooling effect - 26 miles of it was a different story!
