I got up and ran this morning. I think my toe is going to survive! My legs were a little sore, I couldn't figure it out since I hadn't run in several days. Then I remembered - I walked for 4 1/2 hours yesterday! I believe that counts.
The first half of 2013 is now in the books. Here are my monthly totals:
January - 106.13
February - 132.87
March - 111.38
April - 171.51
May - 170.20
June - 164.23
Total - 856.32
I like the trend of the past 3 months, much more consistent than the first 3. I'd really like to hit 2000 miles this year, which means I need to step it up a little. I need to average about 190 miles a month to reach that goal. With my current training plan, I think I can make it happen!
